TableForge takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it. We will never sell your personal data.
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign up via a third-party provider (such as Google), we receive the profile information that provider shares with us.
Payment information. Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We store a reference to your Stripe customer record but do not store full card numbers on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs how they handle payment data.
Game content. We store the content you create and interact with — character names, descriptions, campaign notes, and game session history — in order to provide the Service.
Usage data. We collect information about how you use the Service, including pages visited, features used, and session timing. This helps us improve the product.
Communications. If you contact us, we store the content of your message and your contact details in order to respond.
Waitlist. If you join our waitlist, we store your email address and the plan you selected.
We use the information we collect to:
We do not use your game content or personal data to train AI models without your explicit consent.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in these limited circumstances:
Service providers. We use trusted third-party services to operate the platform. Key providers include Stripe (payment processing), Postmark (transactional email delivery), and Cloudflare (infrastructure). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only to provide services on our behalf. A full list of sub-processors is available on request at privacy@tableforge.gg.
Other players. Your character names and in-game actions are visible to other players in your campaign. Your email address is never shared with other users.
Legal requirements. We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of TableForge, our users, or others.
Business transfer. If TableForge is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is subject to a materially different privacy policy.
The Service uses third-party AI providers to generate narration, images, and other game content. Your game session data — including player actions, character details, and campaign context — is sent to these providers as part of generating responses. Our current AI providers include OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, and Together.ai.
These providers are contractually restricted from using your data to train their models. However, you should be aware that your game content is processed by these external services each time the AI generates a response. Each provider's privacy policy governs how they handle data on their infrastructure.
Avoid including sensitive personal information (real names, addresses, financial details) in your game content.
We retain your account data and game content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or billing purposes.
Aggregate, anonymized usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.
You have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the contact page. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. These are necessary for the Service to function.
We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personal data. Analytics data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
If we become aware of a data breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you promptly in accordance with applicable law.
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post changes at this URL and update the "Last updated" date above. For material changes, we will also notify you by email.
Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
